The iPB Range 

The iPulse biometric devices have built a reputation as being tough, reliable products that continue to deliver in the harshest of environments – ranging from multinational fast food chains to gold mines, data centers and kids entertainment venues. The iPB range all use the same integrated controller/processer board, which runs a Linux operating system. This gives infinite scope and control as every biometric device is effectively a powerful computer – making it an access control point and controller combined into one. iPB biometric devices have no hidden charges or fees. 5,000:1 or 10,000:1 fingerprint matching, IntelliRelay™ (intelligent relay) and all licenses are included with every device. Optional integrated HID card readers allow Prox, MiFare, DesFire, iClass or SEOS –with the powerful SE multiclass module offering them all in one device! 


The iPB1 is a versatile, high-performance USB fingerprint reader with an ultra-compact, low-profile design and an IP65 rating. The device is both FBI and STQC certified, and is used by all iPulse software products for person enrollment.

The iPB4 is a competitively-priced
indoor fingerprint-based biometric
access control unit with optional smart-
card support and a small footprint ideally suited to corporate environments. 

A fully programmable Wiegand interface supported by most Enterprise-level access control systems makes the iPB4 a flexible, cost-effective solution for new and existing security systems. 



The iPB7 is a world-class device with technology far ahead of any of its competitors. Designed around our advanced iPB-mainboard and its specialised Linux operating system, the iPB7 is one of the most intelligent, flexible and extensible biometric devices available. 

The iPB7 flight case is tough,
rugged and portable like the
biometric reader it contains. Provide
real-time clocking events from
anywhere there is GPRS signal, with
live GPS coordinates appended to each clock event. With battery power, vehicle charging and standard electrical connections, the flight case brings biometric clocks to any location you need.

The Secugen algorithm manages 5000:1 or 10,000:1 matching in less that one second, with a FIPS 201 Compliant sensor.



A single Cat5 cable carries power, communication and any required inputs to the device for ease of installation and reduces the risk of tampering



Connectivity is handled via  Ethernet with both static and dynamic IP addresses supported. In addition the devices can communicate with other systems via configurable Wiegand outputs.



Included with every reader is an IntelliRelay that provides secure communication between the device and the relay, and ensures that only an iPulse reader can release the door or turnstile.
